Theresa loved fishing, needle crafting, puzzles, archery, golfing, gardening, and going for walks. She was very active at St. Therese Catholic Church and was especially known for her zucchini bread that she made every year for the church festival. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, and especially loved seeing her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild.

She is survived by her children: David (Kathy) Valetti, Luann Valetti, Cheryl Haddican, Debra (Todd) Laba, Brenda (Don) Olson, grandchildren: Julie (Henry) Zimmerman, Jessica Haddican, Jessie Santopoalo, Angela Santopoalo, Joseph Laba, Nichole (Cory) Lightfield, Steven Laba, and Sabrina Olson, step grandchildren: Adam (Samantha) Armstrong, Tristian Olson, 13 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, sisters: Helen Lindgren, Mary Ann (Rich) Ciesielski, and many other loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Louis Valetti (2008), parents: Frank and Grace Liegl, sister: Hilda Beckman and son in law William Haddican.

The family would like to thank Horizon Hospice for all their care, and Theresa’s dear friend Laurie for all the attentive love and care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church (2020 91st St) on Friday, September 22nd, at 11 A.M. A visitation with the family will be held at 9 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
