Sheryl Rae Hawkins, 62, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday December 23, 2021 at Froedtert South-Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.
Sheryl fondly known by many as Sherry or Sher, was born on May 29, 1959 in Kenosha, the daughter of Joseph “Joe” & Patricia “Pat” (Janovicz) Hawkins. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, attended local schools and was a 1977 graduate at Tremper H.S. She spent most of her career in the medical field, and was currently employed at Aurora Medical Center-Kenosha.
She devoted herself to enriching the lives of everyone she knew, especially her family. Sherry spent much of her spare time working with Tiny Paws Rescue, saving and placing all of the precious “kitties,” she possibly could. She enjoyed going to local fairs, church festivals and music festivals. She also was an avid Packer fan. The compassion she held in her heart for animals and all of the people in her life was endless. She will be sadly missed but always remembered by many.
