Sharon Johanek, 75, of Kenosha passed away on September 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was born on March 6, 1949, in Franklin, IL, to the late Ralph and Marjorie (Robson) Long. As a young girl, she was educated in the schools of Franklin, IL. In her adulthood, Sharon was a dedicated employee at WE Energies for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed many of the simpler things in life. She delighted in sharing her knowledge, skills, and wisdom with everyone she knew in hopes that they would benefit from what she had to offer. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family who brought her great joy.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Sursa of Kenosha, Wi; Michael Adcock of Beach Park, IL; her brother, Larry Long of IL; her six grandchildren: Ashly (Nick) Counterman; Danielle (Jesse) Gomez; Kylie Sursa; Mathew Meyers; Tayler Adcock; Makayla (Kyle) Hemenway. Her 11 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
