Rosemary C. Supernaw, 98, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at The Bay at Waters Edge.
She was born on May 15, 1925 to the late Arthur and Rose (Hagadorn) Schweiger in Beaver Dam. She was educated in the schools of Beaver Dam and Kenosha. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
On March 2, 1946 she married Clarence Supernaw at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2010.
Rosemary worked at Moriarty Manufacturing for several years.
Rosemary was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
Rosemary was a member of the Senior Center and the Disables American Veterans Auxiliary.
Rosemary loved reading and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Rosemary is survived by her son Armin Supernaw of Mount Pleasant, five granddaughters, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren with one on the way and a daughter-in-law Eleanor Mercer of Kenosha.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Gilbert, Clarence, Arthur and Myron and her sisters Dorothy Kirshberg, Marion Stegner and Silvia Wilkinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary will be held on Wednesday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (2020 – 91st St.). Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
