With heavy yet grateful hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rose Moczulewski, who departed this world on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the remarkable age of 104. She was born on January 14, 1922, to the late Kazimir and Stella (Streminska) Szantor. She was a graduate of Kenosha High School.

On November 16, 1943, she was united in marriage to Arnold Knudsen, with whom she shared many cherished years and memories until his passing. She then was united in marriage to Edward C. Moczulewski on October 25, 1975, and shared many cherished years and memories until his passing.

Rose enjoyed gardening, breeding poodles, grooming dogs, rescuing greyhounds, reading novels, visiting Las Vegas, walking with friends, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her son, William (Linda) Knudsen; granddaughters, Jodi (Joe) Kelleher, Susan Rondeau, Michelle (Chris) Kalfa; great-grandchildren, Sierra Rondeau, Sam Rondeau, Sophia Rondeau, Logan Kalfa, Lance Kalfa, Grace Kelleher; great-great-grandson, Henry Rondeau, and three nephews and three nieces.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Aloysius, and Alfons Szantor; daughter, Mary Knudsen; and spouses, Arnold H. Knudsen and Edward C. Moczulewski.

Rose’s spirit radiated kindness, and her warm smile and gentle laughter brightened the lives of everyone around her. She was more than a devoted mother and family member; she was a trusted friend, a source of inspiration, and a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Her life was a beautiful testament to resilience, grace, and gratitude. She embraced each day with an appreciative heart and left a lasting impression on countless lives.

As we celebrate Rose’s extraordinary life, we honor the legacy of love, compassion, and wisdom she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
