Richard Moldenauer, 87, of Kenosha passed away on Monday May 3, 2021 at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s with his daughters Sherry and Suzy by his side.
Richard was born on January 30, 1934 in Kenosha, the son of the late Fred & Bertha Moldenauer. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He was a member of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Richard married Mary Ahmad on June 1, 1963 in Kenosha. He was employed at AMC/Chrysler for 37 years, retiring in 1989 and built homes as a second job. He was a master carpenter, plumber and electrician, teaching all his skills to his son-in-law Russell. His hobbies after retirement included going up north to his cabin, hunting, flea marketing & woodworking, making crafts and taking Senior Citizen cruise and bus trips. Spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Sherry (Russell) Frederick of Franksville, Tina Robin of Racine; sister, Maryann Lamantia of Kenosha; 4 grandchildren Randy, Allen, Eyvonne and Shirley and 7 great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, son, Corey, brothers, Harold & George, and sisters, Virginia Bakke, Dolores Brodsko.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 11:00AM-12:00 Noon, with Military Honors and funeral services to follow at 12:00 Noon. Private burial will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19, facemasks are required in the funeral home.
