Philip T. Blanchard Jr., 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab.

He was born on June 19, 1935 to the late Philip T. and Evelyn (Coder) Blanchard Sr. in Kenosha.  He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

On October 13, 1962 he married Carol Greco in Kenosha. They shared 60 years of marriage.

Philip worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for 34 years, retiring in 1990.  After retirement, Philip was a USA Newspaper distributor throughout Kenosha until 2000.

Philip was an avid reader, enjoyed old cars knowing the make, model and engine size and owned a 1977 Monte Carlo.  He was a Brewers and Packers fan and loved all animals.

Philip is survived by his wife Carol, his sons Scott Blanchard and Jay Blanchard, three granddaughters Tara Blanchard, Amber Woodruff and Leah Blanchard, his two great grandchildren Rosalina Woodruff and Anthony Sutherland, his sister Evelyn Richards and a brother Paul Blanchard.  

Funeral Services for Philip will be held on Thursday, September 21st at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Memorials would be appreciated to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
