Noe G. Sauceda, 59, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on March 13, 1964 to the late Albino and Herminia (Gonzales) Sauceda Jr. in San Diego, TX.
Noe worked for many years as a machine operator (bobcats, front end loaders, forklifts, etc.) until he suffered a back injury in 1997 followed by a reinjury in 2000. Noe was very artistic. He started drawing at a very young age, drawing cartoons like Woody Woodpecker in the 4th grade. He tried watercolors but that didn’t seem right for him – the pencil drawings seem to fit. He was planning on starting an oil painting class at the museum and then perhaps getting into air brushing. Because of constant pain, he needed to alternate between sitting, standing and walking. Noe received a lot of support from his family. Drawing took him to a “different world” and didn’t think about his pain. Drawing caused him to re-direct his mind and his thoughts from the pain and completely focused on drawing to take the pain away. Ideas for his drawings just seemed to pop into his head without provocation. He played softball in his younger years, enjoyed fishing, going up north, being outdoors and watching karate movies. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
Noe is survived by his son Noe Sauceda Jr., his grandchildren Bella, Savannah and Davin and his two brothers and four sisters.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Nicole Pietsch.
Noe’s advice to anyone experiencing a disability is to find something you love to do and then “just do it”. He says it will give you peace of mind and in the end, you’ll feel better about yourself.
A Celebration of Life for Noe will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
