Mary Lou Homes, 79, of Kenosha, passed away on April 25, 2026, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Lou was born on November 8, 1946, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Earl and Freida (Erhardt) Nelson. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. Mary Lou married Robert Edward Homes on October 5, 1968, in Kenosha. She worked at Snap-on Tools for years before becoming a devoted mother to her two sons and creating a loving environment for her family.
Survived by her son Brian Homes of Kenosha. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward, and her son, Robert Earl Homes.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 12:00 PM. Private burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
