Mary Ann Masiakowski Obituary
Mary Ann Masiakowski, 89, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Oak Park Place.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 28, 1937, she was the daughter of Raymond and Sally (nee Nowak) Wiorek. She graduated from Mercy High School in Milwaukee and on October 5, 1957, was united in marriage to Thomas Masiakowski. Following their marriage, they raised their family in South Milwaukee. After retiring, they moved to Venice, Florida, and later to The Villages in Florida.
Mary Ann was a homemaker who worked part-time as an interior decorator. She loved to travel all over the world, go on cruises, and plan home projects for her and Thomas to work on.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Susan Novasic and Karen (Dana) Hottinger; grandchildren, Holly (Jon) Redmer, Aaron (Victoria) Novasic, Lindsey Novasic, Hertel Novasic, Ashley Novasic, Amber (Benjamin) Kenyon, Erica (Michael) Lauderdale and Jacob Griffith; great-grandchildren, Raylan, Jase and Callen Redmer, Chloe Novasic, Evelynn and Isabelle Kenyon, Abigail and Addison Lauderdale and Jasper and Leah Griffith; and her sister, Sister Rose Wiorek, RSM. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved Aunt Balbina “Billy” Nowak; sister Rita Wiorek Geldon; and brother Raymond Wiorek.
The family would like to thank Oak Park Place and St. Croix Hospice for their care during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Parish.
Services for Mary Ann will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 108 McHenry St., Burlington, Wisconsin. Burial will take place at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 9th, at 11:30 AM. If you plan to attend the burial, use the cemetery entrance off of South 13th Street to enter.
