Mae Carolyn Fraid, 76, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, February, 3, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on October 27, 1945 to the late Maxine Mills in Clementsville, KY.
She was educated in Kentucky and Illinois and later moved to Wisconsin.
On March 16, 1971 she married Lary Fraid in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2000.
Mae Carolyn was a CNA for several years then taught ceramics at the Senior Center and in her home. She was also a lunch lady at Lincoln Jr. High School for many years. Mae Carolyn was lovingly called grandma to many kids. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mae Carolyn is survived by her children Lisa (Pat) Weber, Steve Fraid and Mel Berg, her grandchildren Stephen (Liz), Felisha (Sean), Johnathan, Stephanie, James (Shelby), Mike and Amanda, her 10 great grandchildren and her siblings Arlene, Marlene, Norlene, Sharlene and Graylon “Boo”.
She is preceded in death by two sons Jim and Rich Davidson, a daughter Tammy Fraid and a sister Darlene.
Funeral Services for Mae Carolyn will be held on Friday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
