Loretta Mae Bobst, age 78, passed away at Casa Del Mar on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Born on September 18, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Niles “Shorty” and Agnes (Schiller) Bronstad.  Loretta attended schools in Lake Geneva, WI and was a graduate of Badger High School.  She earned her Associate Degree in Social Work from Gateway Technical College.

She was employed with Ametek of Racine, WI., until her retirement in 2007.

Loretta loved animals, especially cats, and had a pet raccoon as a young girl.  She was a book worm, an incredible artist and had a sweet tooth ending each night with a bowl of ice cream. Loretta enjoyed walking, she walked every day.  She dedicated her time with Daybreak Daycare for older people with Alzheimer’s.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Victoria Lynn Bobst and Heather Marie Bobst; her granddaughter, MaKayla Rae Bobst; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Joseph and Tucker Bruce; her four sisters; one brother and many friends and family.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Aaron Kenneth McCrary and her sister, Ardell Jane Bronstad.


Private services will be held at a later date.
