Kim Anne Nyden, 69 of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Kim was born in Chicago, IL, April 18th, 1955 to Robert and Lois (McCoy) Michaels. She is the wife of the late Gerald Nyden Sr.
Kim was described as a spitfire, feisty, stubborn, and could be somewhat sassy. But, you had to know her to really understand the deep love she had not only for her family, but those around her that needed to be loved most. She was also known as the “Neighborhood Mom.” Often being a magnet not only for the kids, but for people in general. Her grandchildren were known for being her pride and joy. Kim spent her time reading, and learning to cook from her favorite chef, Guy Fieri.
Kim is survived by her children; Amber (Scott) Halvorson, Gerald “Bud” (Danielle) Nyden Jr. Her grandchildren; Robert and Breanna Opal, and Samantha Nyden, and her sister-in-law Cora Michaels.
Kim is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Nyden Sr., her brother Lawrence Michaels, and sister, Dale (Rip) Appleby.
A memorial service will be held at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, N5690 Cobblestone Rd., Elkhorn WI. 53121. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M led by Pastor Dick Inglett. Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to have served the Nyden family.
