It is with our immense heartbreak to announce the death of Julie “Jewels” Ann Fellows, aged 60 years, of Kenosha, WI. She passed away late Sunday evening on July 14th, 2024 surrounded by her family at St. Mary’s Columbia Medical Center.
Julie was born in Kenosha, WI on February 29, 1964 to Raymond R. and Gloria J. (Mason) Smith. She graduated from Bradford High School and continued her education in Minneapolis, MN at North Central Bible College. Julie loved the outdoors and was very active in sports. It was through softball that she met her husband, Douglas E. Fellows. They were married November 20th, 1987 and were blessed with four children.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Julie was known for her love for the Lord, her kindness, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She found joy in helping others, and would not think twice about dropping anything she was doing if you needed her.
Julie loved gardening and yard work. Every year, she tended to her parent’s flower bed and spent hours outside in her own garden. She loved sowing seeds not only literally, but also spiritually.
Julie had an incredible passion for prayer, intercession, healing, and the presence of the Lord. Her desire was to see people walk in freedom from life’s challenges. She took any opportunity to pray and pour into people; she especially loved facilitating houses of prayer. Julie loved others deeply and that showed through her relationships and friendships.
She is survived by her parents, husband, 3 daughters; Ashley N. Fellows of Franksville, WI, Amanda J. Fellows of Franksville, WI, and Hannah E. Fellows of Kenosha, WI; and one son Douglas E. Fellows II of Kenosha, WI. She is further survived by one sister Kristine M. Smith of Mae Sot, Thailand.
