Joy Ann (Wassinger) Wilson, age 85, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Brookside in Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 4, 1936 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary Jeanette (Campbell) Wassinger.
On November 20, 1954, Joy was united in marriage to George Wilson in Chicago. In 1962, they moved to Kenosha, where they raised their five beloved children.
Joy was a movie buff and enjoyed golfing, tennis, bowling, reading, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bruce (Kathy) Wilson, Michael (Wendy) Wilson, Wendy (Tony) Apostoli, Ken (Pam) Wilson; her daughter-in-law, Debra Wilson; her grandchildren, Crystal Wilson, Heather (Wilson) Nighbor, Derek Apostoli, Daniel Apostoli, Gabrielle (Apostoli) Orth, Giana Apostoli, Adam Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Avery Nighbor, Everett Nighbor, Harper Nighbor, Isla Orth; her sister, Diane Collins.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Jeanette; her husband, George; her son, Jeff Wilson, her sister, Marlene Michals; her brother, Arnold Harrington.
