Jorge Luis De Jesús passed away on December 17th, 2021 after a courageous fight with COVID-19 at the age of 50. Jorge was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He was loved by all who knew him, and his humor and kind heart touched everyone he met.
Jorge was born on August 31, 1971 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He grew up in Pozuelo, Guayama, Puerto Rico, and later lived in Chicago, Waukegan, Zion, Rochelle, Thompsonville, Crete (IL), and Milwaukee, before settling in Kenosha where he lived most of his life. Jorge loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could. He enjoyed life to the fullest, whether playing hooky to go fishing, working on one of his many home projects, or picking up a new bartending skill to share with his family and friends.
Jorge is survived by his mother Idalia Toro (Freddy), sisters Idalia Dinzey (Johnny), Felicia De Jesús and Milagros De Jesús, brothers William De Jesús (Chris), Víctor De Jesús (Wanda) and José De Jesús, three children Ashley De Jesús, Anthony De Jesús, and Jazzmyne Washington, two granddaughters Arieliz Rivera De Jesús and Noeliz Rivera De Jesús, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Jorge was preceded in death by his father Jorge Luis De Jesús, brother Rodolfo De Jesús and brother Jaime González.
Even though Jorge was taken too soon, he lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who loved and cherished him.
The family would like to invite you to join them for a service at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, December 27th,2021 at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028 – 8th Avenue). A visitation will be held at the Woman’s Club on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
