John J. Michelsen Sr., age 68 of Twin Lakes, WI, passed on April 7, 2022. Born at Swedish Convenant Hospital in Chicago, IL, on November 4, 1953. The son of the late Wayne and Delores (Salemi) Michelsen. During his life he enjoyed music and was in several bands, including The Tempos, The Back Then Band, and Granite. He was the life of the party and everyone loved spending time with him. John enjoyed going boating and was knowledgeable of sports trivia.

Loving Father to Sandy Michelsen, Carol (Ivan) Arriola, and JJ Michelsen (Emily Callahan-Horton). Grandfather to Ava Michelsen, Sophia Arriola, and soon to be Lincoln R. Michelsen. Brother to Wayne Michelsen, Anne Michelsen, Maria (Dennis) O’Connor, Carol (Bill) Bucsa, Mark (Carrie) Bucsa, and Scott (Patti) Michelsen.

Uncle to Jimmy Huffman, Brett and Katie O’Connor, Blake and Kyle Bucsa, Nick and Jacob Michelsen, Scott Jr. and Tommy Michelsen.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 10, 2022 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home located at 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI 53181. Online condolences haaselockwoodfhs.com.
