Jessie M. Moseler, age 83, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, December 22nd,2021 at Froedtert South – KMCC, surrounded by her loving family. Jessie was born on April 11th, 1938 in Suring, WI to George and Marion (Bellow) Hurning. She married Richard Moseler on June 26th, 1963 in Waukegan, IL. Jessie worked at Kemper Center (Hall) dining hall when it was a girl’s school in Kenosha and for a nursing home in GA. She also went on to get a truck driving license. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, and her dog Sport. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Schauer; a son-in-law, Dean Barker; former husband, Richard Moseler; two sisters, Doris Hurning and one in infancy; a brother, Bobby Hurning.
Jessie is survived by, three daughters, Kathryn (Michael) Moncher, Ruth (Mark) Smith and Sandra Barker all of Kenosha; grandchildren, Heather Moncher, Alexandra Moncher, Kailee Rohde, Edward Smith, Christina Smith, Breanna Barker, Britney Barker and great grandchildren, Tegan, Peyton, Wyatt , Blakelyn ,Paisley, Dai’Ana, Rahi’Ana, and; three brothers; John, Delmer and Bill Hurning; five sisters, Anna Gilbert, Clara Devroy, Karen Mertens, Betty Hurning and Patsy Caelwarts as well as other family and friends.
A memorial service for Jessie will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 30th,2022 at Kemper Center – Founders Hall (6501 – 3rd Avenue). A visitation will be held on Saturday at Kemper Center from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
The family would like to offer their sincerest gratitude to Vivent Health – Kenosha for everything they did for Jessie. Also, to Dr. Colin and the Froedtert South – KMCC staff for all their support they gave Jessie.
