Jeffrey A. “Jeff” McNamara, 74, of Union Grove, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home.
Born in Burlington, Wisconsin, on May 11, 1952, to the late Frank and Mary McNamara.
Jeff is survived by his wife Mary (nee Pope), siblings Michelle (Darell) Schultz and the late Ellen McNamara, Michael McNamara, and Melinda McNamara. Uncle to Lisa Wells and great-uncle to Gunnar, Peyton, and Shea Wells. Also survived by several aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Jeff spent his career as a forester working for Asplundh Tree Service and Wright Tree Service. In his free time, he played pool, softball, deer hunted, and loved a good round of golf.
Jeff’s wife, Mary, would like to thank Aurora Hospice, John and Deb McNamara, Kevin and Mary McNamara, and Shelly and Darrell Schultz for their constant loving care during Jeff’s illness and passing.
A time of gathering to visit with family and friends will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Polnasek -Daniels Funeral Home, 908 11th Ave., Union Grove, Wisconsin. Following visitation at the funeral home, please join the family at Coal Miner’s Daughter, 1024 Main St., Union Grove, Wisconsin, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM for fellowship.
