James M. Brandt, 54, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Clairidge House.
He was born on July 17, 1967 to Richard C. and Elizabeth L. (Hinz) Brandt in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School.
On August 1, 2016 he married Denise Walters at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Racine.
James owned and operated Brandt Construction for many years.
James was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
James enjoyed classic cars, woodworking, carpentry, ATV’s, jet skiing, yard work, camping and going down by Lake Michigan. James loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and visiting Door County and Wisconsin Dells.
James is survived by his wife Denise of Kenosha, son Tylor J. Brandt of Minneapolis, Minnesota, daughter Aliah Arneson of Kenosha, grandchild Aisaya Bouchee of Kenosha; siblings Jean (Mark) Doud of Phoenix, Arizona, Richard T. Brandt of Kenosha, Ruth A. Brandt and Susan (Ricardo) Toris of Scottsdale, Arizona and Ann (James) Smessaert of West Allis.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Brandt.
A Memorial Services for James will be held on Friday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Bruch Funeral Home, 3503 Roosevelt Road. Inurnment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
