Gary M. Fondrliak, 72, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center Kenosha, with loving grandchildren by his side.
Born in Kenosha, on July 22, 1948, he was the son of the late John H. Fondrliak and Marjorie M. (Schweiger) Glud. He attended Kenosha Schools, Graduating from Bradford in 1966.
On June 30, 1979, he married Vera (Marshall) Wolosek at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI. He loved and cared for his one and only until her death on December 23, 2004.
Along with many family members, Gary was a “Lifer” at American Motors/Chrysler and retired in June of 2001. Following retirement, he taught himself how to completely rebuild computers and often upgraded and sold computers as a hobby. He is survived by two grandchildren he raised as his own, Tracy Eilts and Jason (Serina) Marshall; a nephew that was truly his best friend, JJ Fondrliak; two special great-grandsons, Vaughn and Cody Eilts whom he adored because they kept a smile on his face; his step-children, Charles (Norma) Marshall, Dan (Sunny) Marshall, Bob (Nan) Marshall, Sandy Roberts; and two brothers, John G. Fondrliak and Randy H. (Julie) Glud. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and several lifelong Kenosha friends.
