Gail A. (Jechorek) Millhouse, 75, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Froedtert South – Kenosha, after being recently diagnosed with cancer.
Born in Kenosha, on December 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Valerie (Kirklis) Jechorek. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools attending St. Peter’s Catholic Gradeschool, a 1963 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, and went on to receive a technical degree in Horticulture from Gateway Technical College.
Gail was employed at Kenosha Hospital in the medical records department for many years and retired in 2016. Aside from her work there, she was a single mother to her four children, working hard to provide for them.
Anyone who met Gail loved her. Her infectious personality captivated her friends and family, who she equally enjoyed. Gardening, fishing, caring for her home, listening to music, playing games, and living life to the fullest is what she did. She had strong spiritual beliefs and was at peace with the Lord.
Survivors include her four children, Lori (Kris) Laho, David Millhouse, Michael (Amy) Millhouse, and Kelly (Donald) Millhouse; five grandchildren, Alex Soens, William (Aimee) Soens, Trevor and Makayla Millhouse, and Hazel Grace Habetler; one great grandchild, Jaxson Soens; two siblings, Tom (Darlene) Jechorek and Salli (George) Martin; and a sister-in-law, Arlene “Cookie” Liegakos.
Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved brother, John E. Jechorek; and a sister in infancy, Nancy Jechorek.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20th, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please have Masses said for the repose of her soul at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
