Dennis Wallee Williams, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Kenosha Place Senior Living.

Born in Waukegan, IL on January 15, 1944, he was the son of Harvey and Dorothy (Schad) Williams.  He was a graduate of Grayslake High School.

On December 22, 1979, Dennis was united in marriage to Cynthia Ernsting.

Dennis worked as a field supervisor for Green Giant, DelMonte and Aunt Nellies.

He was an alderman and the former mayor of Montello, WI.

Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and just being outdoors. Most of all, Dennis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Cyndy; his children, Peter Williams, Cindy Ellis, Scott (Colleen) Ernsting and Tim (Belinda) Ernsting; his grandchildren, Amanda, Bryan, Kaity, Chris, John, Bob, Matt, Jackie, Tyler and Scottie and his great grandchildren, Luke, Emma, Lucy, Madison, Audrey and Cole.

Along with his parents Harvey and Dorothy, Dennis was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 5501 N. Cumberland Ave. #101, Chicago, IL 60656 or https://www.stjude.org or Matthias Academy 12603 224 Ave., Bristol WI 53102 or https://matthiasacademy.org would be appreciated by the family.
