Craig J. Polivka, age 56, of New Berlin, WI, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1969, the son of James and Susan (Slama) Polivka. During his lifetime, Craig dedicated 30 years to Harley-Davidson, where he was a machinist. He loved his job and had a passion for all things Harley. He especially enjoyed the freedom of his custom bike, which he built himself. In his free time, he enjoyed vacations at the beach, riding with his friends, and fixing old cars. He loved going to Brewers’ games and hanging out with his family and friends. Known for saying “I got a guy” for everything, he was a gentle giant, giving legendary bear hugs and fiercely loving everyone around him. He will be missed and remembered by many. Craig is survived by his parents, James and Susan Polivka; brother and sister, Steven (Laurie) Polivka and Sarita (Scott) Schraeder; aunt and uncle, John Jr. and Cheryl Polivka; cousins, Lisa and Paul Stawicki, and Julie and Jack Howard; and nieces and nephews, Savana and Sofie Schraeder and Matt and Mason Polivka. Craig is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Estelle and John Polivka Sr., and maternal grandparents, Vernon and Gladys Slama, and cousin, Scott Polivka.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Danny Haskell’s Pub & Grill, W171S 7260, Lannon Dr, Muskego, WI, 53150, from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM.
