Christine Olga Tompkins passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on November 20, 1948, to the late Willis and Lorraine (Murray) Tompkins. She rigorously pursued education after high school and received her bachelor’s degree from UW Milwaukee. She worked many years in Milwaukee as an ICU nurse and case manager. Chris had recently been living in an assisted living facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She had an avid interest in genealogy and family history.
Chris is survived by her twin sister, Charlene Streeter, in Beloit, and her sister, Kathy Murray, in Duluth, Georgia. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services honoring Christine’s life will be held privately.
