Cheryl Tohl, 74, of Kenosha, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital with her family at her side.
Cheryl was born on January 29, 1952, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late George Quibelle and June Cory. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, receiving a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Cheryl married Phillip Tohl on May 27, 1995, in Kenosha. She was employed by the Kenosha History Museum as an art teacher for many years. Cheryl was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included art, woodworking, pottery, playing bingo, and gardening, but most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Tohl of Kenosha; son, Daniel Quibell of ID; sister, Gail Wells of Kenosha; also included are her 5 grandchildren; Felisha (Andrew), Johnathan, Stephanie (Bradley), James and Tallon and 10 great-grandchildren; Michael, Noah, Lilly, Vincent, Benjamin, Andrew, Rosalie, Joseph, Mylo and Theodore and many nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Deanne, and her brother Bruce.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
