Charles (Calogero) J. Dellutri, age 98 of Powers Lake, Wisconsin, passed away on March 23, 2024. Preceded in death by his wife, Bernice (nee Martin), survived by children John (Elaine) Brodemus, Robert Brodemus, Christine (Walter) Verhage, Glenn (Judy) Dellutri, Jeff (Susan) Dellutri, and Carolyn (Tom) Dellutri-Coleman; Grandchildren Stephanie (Todd) Johnson, Brandon (Erin) Brewer, and Aspen, Natalie, and Henry Dellutri; Great grandchildren Ryder, Gavin, and Avery Johnson; Abby and Aiden Brewer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Calogero and Santa (nee D’Angelo); brothers Angelo (Dolly), Tony (Delores), Philip, and Joseph; sisters Rose (Emmandale) DeGrado, Mary (Dan) Pignato; Lilly (Pete) Petrillo, Josephine (Joe) Petrosky, and Margaret (Frank) Bruno; Inlaws Stanley and Petranella (nee Norbut) Martin, sister-in-law Stella (Tony) Vaitkus.
Charlie, the seventh of 10 children, born in Chicago, raised in the Bridgeport neighborhood, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served his country in the Philippines during WWII. Following an honorable discharge, he attended the Illinois Institute of Technology earning an engineering degree, embarked on a career in the pre-cast concrete industry in Metro-Chicago, Southeast Wisconsin, and Northwest Indiana.
Charlie met Bernice, a widow with three children, through dancing, an activity they enjoyed throughout their lives. They married in 1956, and together had three more children. They moved from Bridgeport to Oak Lawn, Illinois in 1957, and to Powers Lake, Wisconsin in 1972.

Visitation will also be held on April 3, 2024 from 10 AM to 11:00 at church with funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St John’s Catholic Church, 701 N Lake Ave, Twin Lakes, WI.
