Charles “Chuck” Kent of Kenosha passed away on April 28th, 2026. He was 69.
Charles Albert Kent was born in Michigan on June 5th to Arvel and Mary (Zdrowski) Kent. He grew up and was educated in Kenosha alongside four sisters and two brothers. Throughout his years, he was self-employed as a mechanic and handyman. His hobbies included cars, motorcycles, and antiques. Chuck found joy in simple, meaningful things. He loved to laugh and could often be found under a hood, fixing or restoring something with care. He also enjoyed cooking and music.
Chuck is survived by four children, Jennifer Kent of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephanie Weber of Peoria, AZ, Chuck “Charlie” Rupp-Kent of Kenosha, Cloey Rupp-Kent of Kenosha, and stepdaughter Jamie Tegel, also of Kenosha. He is also survived by sisters Pat (Gary) Carlino of Oldsmar, FL, Marlene Fredrick, and Betty Kent, both of Chicago, IL, and 13 grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, sister Diane, and two brothers, Mike and Denny.
Chuck will be remembered for his perseverance and sense of humor and the countless moments he shared with those close to him. He will be deeply missed.
