Bonnie D. Shiffra, 87, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Brookdale Memory Care.
Born in Woodruff, WI, on September 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Vernal and Barbara (Pennock) Miller. She was educated in the schools of Phelps and graduated from Phelps High School.
On September 12, 1959, she married Gerald M. “Jerry” Shiffra in Ironwood, MI. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1997.
Bonnie worked as a bank officer at Brown National/Bank One/Chase for 36 years. She enjoyed going to the casinos in Las Vegas, and spending time with her Yorkie, Cuddles.
Survivors include a son: Shaun (Betsy-Jo Wagner-Shiffra) Shiffra; a daughter: Sharida Shiffra-Weidner; a son-in-law: Craig Schiller; five grandchildren: Kim (Jeff Capp) Schiller, Sharlene Rudolph, Kayla Bosman, Anthony (Kelsey) Shiffra, and Rani Weidner; three great-grandchildren: Gage, Tayden, and Tegan; and her long-time significant other: Andy Maschak.
Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Carol Jean “CJ” Schiller; a grandson: Joshua Flesch; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Shiffra; and two sisters: Joyce Moehn and Marjorie Lugar.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, services were held privately.
