Austin Hunter Merkling, 32, sadly left our world on July 7, 2025. He was born in Burlington, Wisconsin, in 1993. The Son of Mark Merkling and Roxanne Olson (Setterman). During his life Austin loved to collect Pokémon cards, baseball cards, everything Brewers, and matchbooks. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan that led him to work at the stadium. He whole-heartedly loved his entire family, getting tattoos, going to Brewers games, and watching the Chicago Bears.
Austin is survived by his Mother, Roxanne (Stuart) Olson and Father, Mark (Lisa) Merkling. Brother to Amanda (Dan) Nusse, Hannah (Luke) Morgan, Joshua (Nicole) Holuna, and Sierra Olson. Grandparents: Rachel Setterman, Roger (Carla) Becker, and Toni Redlin. Uncle to Zaine Morgan, Ryker Holuna, and Sophia Nusse.
Austin was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Roger Setterman, Sr., Leroy and Nancy Merkling, Wes Redlin, and special childhood friend, Ryan Ronfeldt.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025, from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. followed with Inurnment at St. Alphonsus Columbarium. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Merkling /Olson Family.
