Dick’s Roof Repair is accepting nominations through June 30 for its seventh annual free roof replacement — and Kenosha County residents are being asked to think about a neighbor, friend, or family member who might need it most.
The program, which the locally owned Kenosha company launched in 2020, selects one household in Kenosha or Racine County to receive a complete roof replacement at no cost. In the six years since the giveaway began, Dick’s Roof Repair has provided that help to one deserving family each year.
This year’s nomination window is open now. The company is looking for families facing hardship — whether from medical challenges, financial strain, disability, loss, or other difficult circumstances — who continue to show resilience and care for others despite what they are going through. Anyone in Kenosha or Racine County can submit a nomination on behalf of a family they believe deserves the help.
“We’ve been fortunate to serve this community for generations, and this giveaway means a great deal to our team,” said Jeff Milkie, president of Dick’s Roof Repair. “Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how much people in Kenosha and Racine care for one another. Being able to provide a safe roof for a family in need is one way we can give back and hopefully make a difficult time a little easier.”
Dick’s Roof Repair has served Kenosha, Racine, and surrounding communities since 1957, providing roofing, siding, and window services across Southeast Wisconsin. The annual free roof program has become one of the more direct expressions of the company’s nearly 70-year presence in the region.\n\nNominations close June 30, 2026. After the Fourth of July holiday, Dick’s Roof Repair will review all submissions and select the 2026 recipient. Residents can submit a nomination at dicksroofing.com.
