Shady Hollow fans, this is the event you’ve been waiting for! On Friday, October 10th, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., Blue House Books welcomes Juneau Black – the pen name of writing duo Sharon Nagel and Jocelyn Cole – for an unforgettable evening celebrating Mockingbird Court, the sixth and final book in their enchanting cozy mystery series.

Set in the quaint village of Shady Hollow, where woodland creatures sip coffee at Joe’s Mug and swap gossip under the trees, the series has charmed readers with its whimsical blend of warmth, wit, and murder.

The authors will discuss the inspirations behind their “gently bizarre” world, share insights into their creative process, and take part in an audience Q&A. A signing will follow, giving readers the chance to take home a signed copy of Mockingbird Court, a must-have conclusion to the series that has been called “cute, quirky, fluffy fun, with a touch of lurking darkness.”

“This series has been a massive favorite among our Blue House Books readers, and it’s easy to see why,” said Dani Koziol, Marketing Manager at Blue House Books. “Juneau Black has created a cozy yet slightly dangerous world that feels like coming home.”

Tickets are available now and include multiple options: $23 for one book and entry for one guest, $28 for one book and entry for two guests, or $5 for general admission without a book. Reserve your spot today on the Blue House Books website to join us for a night of mystery, laughter, and one last visit to Shady Hollow! Visit here: https://blue-house-books.com/events/3539020251010
