Kenosha County Parks is excited to welcome the community to Fox River Park for a special Movie Night in the Park event on Friday, Sept. 26, featuring “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

The movie will begin at dusk near Area #1 (first left after entering the park). Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, and snacks for a fun and comfortable evening outdoors.

Adding to the excitement, a costume contest will accompany the showing. Guests are invited to dress as their favorite characters, with winners chosen by crowd applause. Prizes include a free pass to Boundless Adventures – Kenosha Zipline & Aerial Park, located within Bristol Woods County Park.

“Movie Night in the Park has become a tradition our community looks forward to,” said Parks Director Wyatt Moore. “Expanding to Fox River gives more families the chance to enjoy an evening together at our wonderful park.”

Kenosha County Parks is proud to provide these free, family-friendly events as part of its commitment to community engagement and recreation, Moore added.

Fox River Park is located on Highway F (93rd Street) just east of Highway W (304th Avenue) in the Village of Salem Lakes.
