Vincent Tassotti, 76, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Grande Prairie, surrounded by his loving family.
Vincent was born on April 16, 1949, in Italy, the son of Nello and Josephine (Fioravanti) Tassotti. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School and UW–Parkside with a bachelor’s degree in English and History. He served in the National Guard.
Vincent was employed as a teacher at Reuther and Bradford High Schools. He also coached girls’ basketball for many years, sharing his time and support with student athletes across the district.
He devoted much of his life to raising and racing pigeons and was active in local racing circles, including the Kenosha Racing Pigeon Club. He enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks, and he traveled to Italy often to stay connected to his roots and extended family. He was known for his distinctive personality, unconventional at times but always himself.
Survivors include his brother, Henry Tassotti of Somers; nieces Tina (Jon) Osborne of Kenosha and Cristine (Miguel) Escobedo of Somers; nephew Marc Tassotti of Kenosha; and great nephews Adrian Tassotti, Dominic Tassotti, and Ahmi Escobedo‑Tassotti.
