Suzanne (Sue) C. Prostko, 65, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center
She was born on July 9, 1958 to the late Raymond F. and Carol L. (Peehn) Spizzirri in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School. After graduating Sue received her Associate’s Degree in Horticulture from Gateway Technical School.
On July 20, 1985 Sue married Larry Prostko in Kenosha.
Sue worked at Barden’s Department Store for several years and then at Pick N Save in the floral department for the last 16 years, retiring in June of 2023.
Sue enjoyed fishing, crocheting, playing sports in her younger years, going to the Renaissance fair, cross country skiing and loved watching her daughter’s music performances and spending time with her family and friends.
Sue is survived by her husband Larry, her daughter Sara Prostko, her stepson Eric (Dianna) Prostko, her brother Steve (Dawn) Spizzirri, her sister Paula (Dan) Hauer, her sister-in-law Paula Spizzirri, her grandchildren Payton and Ean and her nieces and nephews Amber, Keri, Tracy, Brooke, Steven, Anna, Rachel, Tony, Joe and Ciprina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dave Spizzirri.
A Celebration of Life for Sue will be held on Saturday, January 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
