Susan Adamowicz, 75, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Froedtert South–Pleasant Prairie, surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born on September 1, 1950, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Frank & Evelyn (Luebke) Ciesielski. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford H.S. Sue married Richard Adamowicz on May 18, 1974, in Kenosha. As a young adult, she worked at Great Lakes Naval Base. Later, she worked in the registrar’s office at Carthage College. For over two decades, though, she was employed by the KUSD as an educational assistant, health aide, and in other roles. Sue was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking/baking, flower gardening during warm months, and traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe with her husband, Rick, family, and dear friends. She also enjoyed reading classic mystery novels and watching British television series and movies. Sue treasured the times she spent with her family and groups of cherished friends. Survivors include her daughters, Heather (Kelly) Crowley of
McHenry, IL, Lisa Adamowicz Kless of Kenosha; brothers, Michael Ciesielski of Somers, Frank Ciesielski of Somers; sister, Michelle Ciesielski of AZ; grandchildren, Cassandra Hill, Tristen (Caitlin) Crowley, Catherine Crowley, Evan Kless, and Jacob Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Eli Crowley and Caleb Crowley. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Richard. A memorial gathering will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (714-49th St, Kenosha, WI 53140) on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:15 AM–10:00 AM, with memorial services to follow at 10:00 AM.
