Roberto G. Renteria, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 16, 1943, Roberto lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his loved ones, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of nature.
Roberto found happiness outdoors, whether tending to his beloved garden, casting a fishing line, or spending time hunting. He had a special love for his dogs, who were constant companions throughout the years. While he enjoyed many hobbies, nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family.
A devoted husband, Roberto shared 65 years of marriage with the love of his life, Emma Renteria. Together, they built a family rooted in love, loyalty, and cherished traditions. His unwavering dedication to his wife and family was evident in everything he did.
Roberto will be remembered for his kindness, strength, wisdom, and the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through his family, who will forever carry his love and lessons in their hearts.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that his life was well lived and that his memory will continue to bloom, much like the gardens he so lovingly cared for.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Emma Renteria; children, Juan Renteria, Manuel Renteria, Irene Gomez, and Roberto Renteria; in addition to his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolfo Renteria; his mother, Elena Renteria; brother, Rudolfo Renteria, who were there to welcome him to Heaven.
A visitation will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.
