Robert Richard Mecozzi, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 62.
Born on November 4, 1962, in Kenosha, Robert spent his entire career in the automotive industry, where he took great pride in serving others. With a strong work ethic and deep care for the people he helped, he built lasting relationships throughout his years in the field.
Robert had a lifelong passion for classic cars—restoring them to their former glory and cruising around town brought him real joy. He also enjoyed peaceful getaways to northern Wisconsin and cheering on the Green Bay Packers whenever they played.
More than anything, Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren. Whether it was a quiet moment or playful chaos, being with them brought him true happiness. He was also filled with excitement and anticipation for the arrival of his fourth grandchild, a new light he looked forward to welcoming into the world.
He is survived by his children, Brandon Mecozzi and Ashley Landry; his grandsons, Ryland and Trace Mecozzi and Isaiah Landry; and his sister, Debbie Alderson.
In accordance with Robert’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
