Paul L. Cinko, age 86, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Germaine, WI, on November 26, 1939, to parents Sylvester and Genevieve (nee. Castleman) Cinko. Paul proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1957 to 1960. He married his best friend, LaVonne Swanson, on October 31, 1964. Paul worked as a firefighter for Glenview Naval Air Station from 1969 to 1994. Following his retirement, he worked several part-time jobs to keep busy.
Paul treasured the times spent fishing and hunting in the great outdoors, where he found solace and joy. He loved playing cards and gambling with family and friends. Paul will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
Paul is survived by his wife, LaVonne Cinko; daughter, Lisa M. (Steve Thompson) Hansen; grandsons, Timothy and Daniel Hansen; great-grandchildren, Echo, Atlas, JJ, Matty, Hallie, Teddy, and Archie; brother, Sylvester Jr. (Toni) Cinko; former son-in-law, James Hansen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Paul Cinko; his parents; and his siblings, Joseph Cinko, Rosemary Dionne, Marian Rand, Patricia Cowan, and Beverly Ritter.
A celebration of life will take place at the TinCan Roadhouse on May 31st at 4 p.m.
