Nubar Douglas Musurlian, 82, passed away at Parkside Manor on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Nubar was born in Racine on June 25, 1943, to Harry and Virginia (nee: Kirkorian) Musurlian. He served as a medic in the United States Army during Vietnam. In 1987, he married Osa Christensen in Racine. Nubar served the county of Racine as a social worker and crisis manager. He liked spending winters in Arizona, along with playing golf and Bridge. Nubar enjoyed classical music, attending the Symphony and the theater.
He is survived by his wife Osa, children, Peter (Jennifer) Christensen, Joshua Christiansen, and Patrick (Nichole Elcano) Christensen, grandchildren Alexa, Dylan, Morgan, Taylor, Cole, Samuel, and Nicholas, Cale and Will Elcano, nephew Tim (Susan) Musurlian, niece Amy (Matt) Joahnson, and lifelong friends Butch and Jan Vuvunas. Nubar is further survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Arthur Musurlian.
Funeral services for Nubar will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 4605 Erie Street, on Friday, January 30, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
