Mary Taylor, 69, of Kenosha, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on March 2, 1957, in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of the late Jerry and Bessie (Carr) Hunt. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Mary married James Taylor in the year 1974 in Kenosha. She was a member of New Abundant Life Church. Her hobbies included watching gospel programs, singing, cooking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James Taylor of Kenosha; children, Frederick (Virgilia) Hunt of Richland, IA, Cynthia Hunt of Racine; brothers, Clevland Carr of Kenosha, Anthony (Rhonda) Carr of Kenosha; sisters, Bessie (Joe) Young of Kenosha, Clara (Charles) Fisher of Kenosha; also included is a host of grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
