Lucas Patrick Wirtz, age 43, of Kenosha, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was born on March 18, 1982, to John and Elsie (Pickart) Wirtz. He spent most of his early years in Plymouth, WI, and later moved to Kenosha to raise his family. He attended local Plymouth schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 2000. He later attended Gateway Technical College and Carthage College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2006. Most recently, Lucas completed his MBA program from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2024. Lucas happily married Dana Nichols in 2008, and together the two raised 6 wonderful children. Lucas was a man of faith and was a member of Christ the King Church in downtown Kenosha. Lucas was very involved in numerous ministries and would always pray for others. His pride and joy were his wife and children, and he was faithfully devoted to them every day.
Lucas is survived by his loving wife: Dana Wirtz, parents: John and Elsie Wirtz, children: Gabriel Robert (D.2016), Evelyn Violet, Adelaide Rose, Tobias Daniel, Beatrice Mae and Naomi Grace, mother and father in law: Bob and Denise Nichols, brother: Justin Wirtz, brothers and sisters in law: Bonnie (Judd), Andrew (Nadya), Caitlin (Jeremy), Leah, Erica (Shawn), Beau (Ashley), Keith, Alexis (Geoff), and Ian (Shaylynn), and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Lucas will be held at Christ the King Church (5934 8th Ave) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10 A.M. A memorial will be held at Christ the King Church at 12 P.M. immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Back 2 Back Ministries or Christ the King Church in Lucas’s name are appreciated.
