September 16, 1959 — February 10, 2026
Our dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Keith L. Pitts passed away on February 10, 2026, in Janesville, Wisconsin. He is remembered for his love of his family, loyal friendship, and the passions that filled his life.
Keith was born on September 16th, 1959, to Lowell and Joyce (Stoxen)Pitts. He grew up in Wilmot and enjoyed the community, neighbors, and dear friendships that came with life on “Hwy B”. He graduated from Wilmot Union High School. Keith was baptized and confirmed at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilmot.
As a youth, Keith enjoyed hockey and baseball along with riding mini-bikes, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and skiing with his neighborhood friends. He was a founding member of the “Hwy B Boys”. As an adult, his interests included trapshooting and being a member of the Delavan Sportsmen’s Club, Legendary Whitetail, Ducks Unlimited, and traveling to the Indy 500 with friends. He took great pleasure in hunting, fishing, and activities that brought him joy and camaraderie with those who shared his passions.
Throughout his career, Keith took great pride in his role as a senior buyer for Leman’s. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life, as he was a member of the Wilmot Fire Department, where he was also a part of the waterfight team.
But Keith’s most important role was being a devoted father to his daughters. His memory will be treasured by his surviving daughters, Cass (Heather) Pitts and Elizabeth (Seth Birkelo) Pitts. He will be deeply missed by his loving brother and sister, Doug (Mattie) Pitts, and Mary Beth (Gary) Lois. Keith’s legacy continues through his cherished grandson, Peter E. Pitts, who will carry forward the values passed down from his grandfather through his parents. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, dear family and friends. He also leaves behind his best buddy Jordi, who never left his side.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents and many family members. Their memory lives on in the hearts of their family, who will carry forward the legacy of kindness, dedication, and love.
Keith will be missed deeply by all who knew him, remembered not only for his big heart but also for the warmth and love he brought into the lives of his family and friends.
