July 27, 1973 – March 13, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Justin Wade Worley, who departed this world on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 52. He was born on July 27, 1973, to Albert and Cheryl (Smith) Worley. Justin was a 1991 graduate of Rock Springs High School. He joined the Navy and served for nine years before obtaining his Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies from Harding University. Most recently, he was employed at CNH Industrial as an Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Leader.
Pieces of him will live on through his family and friends. He is survived by his beautiful bride of 25 years, Heather Worley; his daughters, Brooke (Jeovanny) Bermudez and Brittani (Joseph) Lang; his sons, Benjamin, Ashton, and Brandon Worley; his grandchildren, Charlotte Lang and William Bermudez; and his siblings. He is further survived by his chosen family, “chamily,” and all of his finished and unfinished projects.
Justin will be remembered for his compassionate heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor – if you define “wonderful” as dad jokes and puns. Many of his friendships began simply because someone needed help, or because someone would think of Justin and say, “I know a guy.”
He lived his life with an inclusive spirit and had a special ability to connect people and create spaces where everyone felt welcomed and valued. A natural teacher, he found joy, not only in offering his skills, but in teaching them to others – even if he hadn’t mastered them himself yet. Justin was also a natural leader, serving on multiple boards within the community.
As a jack of all trades, Justin felt most inspired when he could take a fleeting thought and turn it into something bigger than himself, whether it was a sermon or a car. His family will always treasure his creations — from the karaoke machine to the family table, and the restoration of the family’s ’37 Chevy truck.
