It is with deep love that we remember and honor the life of Julia Conforti, age 92, who passed away peacefully Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Kenosha, WI, surrounded by her loving family.
Julia was born on July 11, 1932, in S. Vincenzo la Costa, Providence of Cosenza Italy to the late Michele and Maria (Le Mela) Greco.
On March 1, 1969, she married the love of her life, Gabriel Conforti, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
Julia was a gifted seamstress and a hard-working woman, who spent part of her life working at the cookie factory. She was an avid shopper and loved to tend to her many gardens of herbs, vegetables, and flowers. She was the best cook around who valued her Italian traditions, family, and faith. Julia had the biggest heart and the warmest presence. She created a home where everyone felt welcome, loved, and nourished – both in spirit and at the table.
