It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua T. Dickey, 38, who passed away at Froedtert South from cardiac arrest. Joshua was born in Kenosha on February 14, 1987, and he was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He was an avid Bears fan. He was an ROTC graduate as well as Eagle Scout of Troop #538. In his downtime, he enjoyed spending time with his dog Remy, relaxing with a smoke, and watching tv. He leaves behind his loving mother, Kathryn, and his sister, Rachel, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Josh was known for his kind heart and his selfless spirit. For many years, he was a dedicated plasma donor, giving to others with the hope of making a difference in their lives. His generosity extended even further in life as he became an organ donor, donating his kidneys, liver, and heart to save others. His legacy will live on in those he helped, and in the memories of those who knew him.
Joshua’s passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who loved him, but his memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. His spirit of kindness, generosity, and love will never be forgotten.
On behalf of Joshua’s mom and sister, a huge thank you to all the first responders, ER staff, and the ICU staff at Froedtert South especially Emily, Lauryn, Dede, Lindsey, Fatmata, Colleen, Kayla, Rachel, Cali, and the Versiti Donor Team.
Survivors include his mother Kathryn Dickey of Bristol; sister, Rachel Dickey of Kenosha, and many other friends and family. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents; Uncle, Dean Muhlenbeck, and his cousin, George Dickey.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday May 5, 2025, from 3:00PM-5:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 5:00PM.
