Daniel Petrelli, aged 37, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born on May 8, 1987, in Kenosha, he was the cherished son of Michael and Robin (Gray) Petrelli.
Daniel was valued member of the Kenosha community and a graduate of Indian Trail High School. His career journey included working at The Spot, Shopko, briefly in IT, and many years as a manager at Walgreens. Over time, he advanced to a corporate role at Walgreens but recently chose to return to store management where he thrived in face to face connections. Known for exceptional work ethic, and dedication, Daniel was highly regarded in his professional life. His commitment and energy made him a favorite among coworkers and customers alike.
When he wasn’t working, Daniel was all about adventure and fandom. He loved being outdoors-whether it was skateboarding, hiking, or playing disc golf. He had a deep love for Star Wars, Harry Potter, video games, and conventions. He was a proud Packers fan and adored animals, especially his cat Milo and his beloved late dog, Tidus.
Above all, Daniel treasured spending time with his friends and family. His warm presence and bright spirit led to many friendships, especially through his time at Shopko and Walgreens, where colleagues became like family. His family expresses gratitude to his work family for their love and support.
Daniel will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Michael and Robin Petrelli of Kenosha, WI; his brother, Manuel Denman of New Berlin, WI; and his sisters, Jenny (Damian) Porter of Kenosha, WI, Subrina Gray of New Castle, DE, Elizabeth Petrelli of Kenosha, WI, Rachel Negri of Miami, FL, Jai Negri of Edina, MN, Ann and Stephanie Ehlers of Sturtevant, WI, and Alisha and Gracie Cruz of New Berlin, WI.
He was preceded in death by his nieces, Aaliyah and MacKenzie; his grandfather, Rudolph Petrelli; his grandmother, Shirley Gray; and his aunts, Mary Stone, Kathy Bloom and Patricia Gray.
A memorial gathering in Daniel’s honor will take place at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with memorial services immediately following at 2:00 PM. All who knew and loved Daniel are invited to attend and share their memories.
