Christine Bonnetts, 84 years old, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, 4/7/2026, with her daughter by her side.
Born in 1942 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Cecilia and Walter Piekarski. She grew up on the South side of Chicago and moved to Miller Beach, Indiana, after she was married to the one and only love of her life, Daniel. There, they raised their three children and had many infamous and iconic beach parties. They eventually moved to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed playing bingo and working at the casino. After losing her husband, Daniel, in 2014, she moved to Pleasant Prairie, WI, to live with her daughter, Pamela. She made many friends while working at Meijer as a cashier.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Sayger Cava of Pleasant Prairie, WI, her son Duane (Sharon) Bonnetts of Hobart, IN, her son Glenn (JoEtta) Bonnetts of Las Vegas, NV, and her siblings Patricia (Larry) Voelker, Bernadette (Bob)Young, Marion Piekarski, and Alan (Catherine Brown) Piekarski. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Crystal (Sarena) Bonnetts, Brandon Bonnetts, Arianna (Grant) Gibson, Mariah (Shawn) Meador, Dakota (Riley Peltier) Sayger, and Teresa Cava.
A private celebration of life will be held in Illinois in June. The family would like to thank Aurora Home Health and Hospice for the care and support they gave during this difficult time.
