Cauleen D. Langenbach, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on June 28, 1946, in Mauston, Wisconsin, Cauleen grew up in a lively family with 9 brothers and sisters, where she learned the value of love and togetherness that she carried throughout her life.
A longtime resident of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Cauleen was a warm and nurturing presence to everyone around her. She dedicated much of her life to raising her family as a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mother. Over the years, she also worked at local retail stores, including K-Mart, Shopko, and Big Lots, where her kind spirit brightened the days of customers and coworkers alike.
In 1991, Cauleen married Ronald Langenbach, and they shared many happy years together until his passing in 2017. Her love for family extended to her sons, Richard Sanderson (Joannie Platt), Steven Sanderson, Jack Sanderson, and James Sanderson, all of Kenosha, as well as her step-son, Ronald Langenbach Jr. (Cindy) of Beaver Dam, his brother James and sister Diana Langenbach. Cauleen’s heart overflowed with joy for her over two dozen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply and delighted in seeing whenever possible.
Cauleen’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her home was a haven of laughter, stories, and the comfort of her caring presence. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Cauleen’s memory with acts of kindness, reflecting the love she so freely gave.
