James “Jim” E. Peterson, 64, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Froedtert St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on September 2, 1961, to the late Alvin and Darlene (Smoot) Peterson in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
Jim married Connie Niemi on April 12, 1986, in Kenosha.
Jim loved wrestling, fishing, hunting in his younger years, camping, riding 4 wheelers, going up north, snowmobiling, and watching old-time westerns on ME TV. He was also a Packers fan.
Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his wife Connie, his children Tyler and Samantha, his sister Luanne Lindow, and his brother Jeffrey Peterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Alvin, and a sister, Gayle Smith.
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Jim will be held on Saturday, July 11th, from 11:00 a.m. with sharing of memories at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.
